The documentary shows the story of an immigrant whom has lost touch with her roots while spending years of living in the United States. Edna shows high levels of enthusiasm about this documentary, receiving praises by the director Dan Ortega. The project portrays the story of an immigrant who has lived in the United States for a while and realizes that they lost their identity and are seeking to re-encounter with their origins and roots. “I am grateful for being an American citizen, with a double citizenship, but I can’t forget that I am also Brazilian, that I have my roots and, mainly, I miss being part of my community.”
